No naked frontals.
No touching frontals, including hands down panties or over clothes.
Naked boobs and butts are allowed.
No one to be touching the boobs or butts. Holding or covering "your own" boobs tastefully is acceptable!
Nothing to indicate sexual activities. Nothing sexually explicit. (Dressed or undressed!)
No bodies touching each other, or hands touching body parts.
No biting, no licking etc..
No kids at all, not even in cartoons.
No celebrities.

To paraphrase this list, if you have a male and a female in your avatar, you are probably breaking the rules. I do not want to hear, "they are just kissing", because honestly I don't care. Just REMOVE IT!

I don't question the mods decisions about avatars any more. Many of mine that have been acceptable for many many months, are now not tolerated. I do not know what brought on all the changes, but nonetheless I will comply. Not being able to have a male and female in the avatar sure makes it difficult...

For the record... the mods here Rock, seems to me it would be easier to change your Av to comply than complain about it..I mean I am pretty certain you all do not huddle up and see what kind of rules you can make to get us all to cry like a bunch of sniveling kids, there are reasons, and if one puts time into thinking about why.. I think they would realize its for the good of the site, and avoid something that could stop us all from gathering here......... but then again thats just me.

However when you undermine a serious post, specifically one posted by a moderator for the extent to make yourself look "funny"...well sir, it comes across as disrepectful. So forgive me for not finding the humor...

For those of you that have "thanked" me and the mods, please know that we appreciate it, but it is not necessary. All I ask is for everyone to acknowledge and follow the guidelines Penny has created. That is my ENTIRE point. I have NO PROBLEM with the site rules as stated. The last avatar I posted violated not a SINGLE SITE RULE! The only rule it broke was a Barkiss amendment. It is amazing how much trouble can be stirred up by an older couple walking hand in hand in a park used as an avatar.

My avatar was NOT changed. I was not asked to change it. I have always complied with the mods asking me to change my Avatar (let's see now, 2 time in three years). The first about 2 years ago, the last about 2 weeks ago by Shiane. I complied in 2 minutes.

My objection is not to the site rules, nor to the enforcement of said rules.

My objection is to arbitrary rules being imposed and enforced by a MOD. My attitude may be expressed here as long as it is not disrespectful or rude to another member. I may express my lack of understanding of why the rules were changed, and I may express my dislike of them. That is all I did, and did NOT disrespect any member. I only called out what had been posted, and proclaimed my opinion.

When Penny is not here, the RULES she established are what are to be enforced by the MODs. I have not been informed of what rules I have broken.

For a MOD to ask me to change my attitude is not his place. There are no site rules about having a "bad" or "immature" attitude. Those terms are subjective and therefore the reason they are not included in the rules.

Our actions aren't flawless and will not always please but our hearts are in the right place. The rule book is rather short, we need to remember that. I thank Penny and all the mods for the time they give so we all can have an awesome place to chat and post. I've been a mod at another forum, and let me tell you, its a tough job, an unfair job too for that matter.

If someone feels offended by something, just report it and let them do what needs to be done, if there is indeed a need. Your job is done in reporting it and if the outcome is not to your liking, well, tough luck, its not a democracy, its an internet forum.

what actually has pissed me off about this thread is the criticism. The mod who has spent several hours cleaning up the avatars was completely in the right. He has the permission to use his discretion and decide whats allowed and not allowed. To imply its any form of power trip is just insulting and ridiculous. To those people that took it personally that their avatar was changed need to step back and have a look around. It's not the end of the world and perhaps...just perhaps people may just have a longer think about the next avatar they choose...criticism is fine but at what point is it just bitching for the sake of bitching .....now that I think about it the lines starting to become blurred with my response to this thread. I was surprised and shocked to hear (and finally managed to read it myself) about some of the bad remarks made on this thread!
I couldn't believe that anyone would think any mod of being unfair or not complying with the avatar rules!
Barkiss was kind enough to help me out!
He took time out for me in his busy work schedule to help me keep this site going as best as possible!
And yes that means something as trivial as watching and removing the avatars!
If an avatar is thought of as breaking the rules then he or any of the mods will act on it!
If your avatar has disappeared then you will know the reason why!
Yes sometimes an avatar may sneak through for awhile, if the person's post has not been seen yet!
Sometimes it comes through to our attention when I receive an e-mail about it.

So if anyone has any problems with this or anything else get in touch with me directly!

Just to clarify one thing, since it was mentioned about a man and woman together, if they are standing apart facing the other way with their backs to us and just holding hands, not showing anything from their naked front view or touching anywhere, except holding hands while standing away from each other, like someone has on her avatar, then it should be ok.
