I counted at least 95 new member names that appeared to be the hijackers so this looks like it was planned by either one individual or a group with an agenda. Thanks to the membership and our trusted mods it was more a hit and run attack. Hopefully the software that can detect this (these) people can keep them out in the future but I fear if it could happen once it'll happen again. Once again, thanks Lena & Barkiss for rushing to our rescue and sorry for all the work you have to do to correct it. Maybe with our donations we can allocate some money to pay the mods for their services. Just a thought!!!

Lena - tried to pm, you're full :). I use to mod a site that used this same software - we had an option to delete all posts made by a user when the account was deleted - just a thought - you might want to see if it's still there!! We used to get the troll attacks once a month or so - not fun!! We always either turned off registrations or set it to require approval for a couple days - they tend to get bored quicker that way! Let me know if you ever need help - I've also been a network and security admin ;)
