Too often I take tomorrow for granted. I assume that it will always be there and that I will always have the chance to make up for the mistakes of today.

In reality I guess this place is what I take for granted... I would be soooo lost with out the wonderful people here. I never even think about what I would do if it was no longer here...

My father.... and the calls I get during every San Diego/ Denver football game.. .all the smack that is said.... I realized last night... even after a brutal loss and having to eat my own hat... One day he is not gonna call me during that game and its gonna be the hardest game in my life to watch.

my job..........and being able to afford my house.....
What a great thread to combat my severe case of Monday-itis, lol!
I too often take for granted the opportunities that have been offered to me through my life. Places I've been able to go, people I've been able to meet. Things I've been able to do. My family.
Some less than fantastic life experiences and the day-to-day nuisances that come up seem, too often, to take more than their fair share of my mind space, crowding out the appreciation I should have for some pretty fantastic things that I have been blessed with.

I've taken time for granted. Thinking I've had plenty of time to decide on something, and then finding out that I was better off with being impulsive, instead of being cautious. I've taken money for granted, thinking it would always be there if I just worked a little harder.

My health.
The number one thing I take for granted is my husband. He really is a wonderful man and does so much for me. I need to keep reminding myself of that and hopefully I'll wake up one day and realize what I have in front of me before it's too late.

-Our freedom of speech/written expression
-the ability to have the money pay the bills and enjoy what our family considers a comfortable life-hope I am always grateful for this.
-Our soldiers and public service men who put their lives on the line every day for us- may we never forget their devotion and their service.

Life --the things I do and dont do...when I eat the wrong things or too much, when I dont get out for a walk or miss a week or two of working out...some days life seems so long, but then it can be gone in a blink of an eye.

What a great thread. Frankly I am good about not taking things for granted in general. I have been in the position of having a lot and losing it all so now I realize just how lucky I am for everything.
I used to take sleep for granted but my son has set me straight on that one...lol.

The smiles on my kids' faces or their laughter. I see people who lose their children at such young ages and sometimes I forget how fragile their little lives can be. I thank god everyday for my kids!
