Watching FoxNews while I surf the web. (I've spent entirely too much time on the computer today.) Retired 7 years ago and have been doing some contract work overseas, so trying to adjust to being home with nothing I have to do or anywhere I have to be. It's nice, but I'm just used to working 12 to 14 hours a day. Guess I'll go rake those leaves in my back yard that were stripped off the trees last night by the hailstorm... and I really should be getting my boat ready for some fishing......

Yeah, I get up around 2:30-3:00am every day...just a habit. I have to say though that just before sunrise is the most beautiful time of the day. I love to go outside and drink my coffee on the lower patio, watch and listen as the world comes to life, and in the winter when it's snowing if you stand real still you can hear the snow settle as it falls...kind corny, I know, but it's cool.:whee:

Now though, I found this site I have to come downstairs to the computer and see what's happening here...lts, and lots of fun and excitement!:D

Lady P and I had a pretty major disagreement today (just one of those things). Holy Cow she's stubborn. But man was the make-up good.... almost makes those fights worth it. Dunno what you think about astrology (not too sure what I think about it), but she's a Taurus and I'm a Leo and we both seem pretty typical to what they describe. Anyway, according to what I've read, a Taurus/Leo relationship is supposed to be a challenge...... and it has been for 31 years. Sure makes life interesting though.

well, wiggles wanted women to respond so its 1:42 am. I been reading these chats. and finally joined in. I have several 20 - 21 year olds I chat with on a regular basis, been chatting with 2 of them, one in MD one in OK. Hubby crashed awhile ago, he's been sick and I am recouperating from knee (arthoscopic surgery)
was worse than he thought so I am in a removable brace so I won't bend my leg.

SOOO anyway, not doing ANY dancing, cant go back to curves for at least another month :(

I was doing so well lost almost 20 pounds and dropped 3 pants sizes in like 6 months ! I just trimmed down, the inches fell off, soo mauch that I am actually the save size as my 15 & 16 year old daughters! After 4 kids I cant believe it. Still hearing compliments and OMG"S you look great! Been called a MILF a couple a times.

so now I'm laid up and cant exercise, been sleeping on the couch so I dont bend the leg at night.

I will Wiggles! I see that we have the same interests by you Bio and my Bro lives in CO at the VERY top of Conifer MT. My 20-21 year olds are personal friends, we all go to a Convention every year, at first they sorta adopted me as MOM! They are all friends with my teenagers. Then I have since chatted hours on-line with them. 3 have actually visited, they are really family friends. I dont think any have a close relationship with their MOM's. I pushed one to enter Art College, he had been outta HS for 2 years, very talented. He's gotten A's all year met a great girl and is engaged! He helped me lay a ceramic tile floor in my kitchen which is big ( a weekend his stepdad was on the rampage) I said come on down, but I'm putting you to work since hubby wouldnt help!:(

sorry I tend to ramble!

They have actually boosted my selfesteem:) My daughters and I are all tall and slender!

Oh and a word of advice! get the knee checked out NOW! dont wait. Dr had to stitch my menicus back hence the reason I have it immobilized for 6 weeks! It was totally detached. He said I dont know what you have done over the years! Hey I am an active, energetic (never sit down person) what can I say :whee:

This restriction is driving me to :drink: and my family nuts.

BTW- I had NO pain after surgery (but then again women have a much higher pain tolerance then men! LOL Although I told the Dr. NO EPIDURAL! I birthed 4 babies w/o one! I said just knock me out!

And sure I'll chat with guys my age, though many cant believe I am 46. I get the mouth drop open if I tell. In fact a guy I went to HS, just made contact with me last week. He recently divorced and Isn't doing well. He was MY best friend in HS, and in college when I came home to visit we would always get together :knuddel: :) He wasn't on AIM so I called him and we chatted for almost 2 hours, hubby was jealous then. Chris said he's glad he's in TN and not closer to me! He doesnt wanna wreak my marriage too, tho he was having a date with the ex the next night after a year divorced and he was worried about what her motives were.

My kids actually gave me the name Onehttmama! They saw the Trace Adkins Music video and said that THAT WAS ME! :D so I guess I sorta stole/borrowed it from the song One Hot Mama! Its a good song and it and the video ARE actually very much me! What can I say?:thankyou: watch the video!

Trace Adkins is easy on the eyes too and his new song I heard yesterday about Arlington is a real tear jerker!

Artho is 3 little incisions, one stitch each and ordinarilly about 2 week recovery! I have 3 little X's on my knee , thats all. Well plus the black and blue marks all over, but I had other issues too.

Dr. said in 21 years he hadn't seen a knee that looked like mine! :thankyou: BUt then thats usually ME! :)

Another tough day here. Did some yard watering this morning and put a roast in the oven... I do the cooking when I'm home being as Lady P is still working. Checked out the news about the bombing in London. Think I'll spend an hour or so reading in the back yard. Need to stay rested up here to keep up with Lady P's raging libido. Man, this almost makes it worth it to be gone for a few years. I'm sure things will slow down after I've been home for a few months, but it sure is fun now. :hp: We like to try new things. Wednesday up at 5am, did some laundry, checked email, got ready and went to work from 8 to 5. Hubby was not home for dinner so I had Taco Bell. Baked cookies for grand-daughters 2nd birthday, more laundry, took a bubble bath, shaved my legs, lotioned my substantial ass, did my nails, read a little in bed and fast asleep till hubby got home from work at midnight:30. Up at 5 this am and doing it all over again.

Today: up at 7. Lady P already up and out doing her morning walk. Made coffee and checked email. 0830 Lady P off to work. Grocery shopping. Stopped by a small engine repair shop to get a part for my weed eater. Spent and hour or so fixing it. Spent another couple hours attacking the weeds along the fence on the back of my property. Cooked a ham..... unloaded the dishwasher. Checked the news on Fox, MSNBC and CNN.... disappointed they all seem to still be focusing on Aruba where there hasn't been anything new to report for about 3 or 4 weeks. (I'm about to quit watching all of them if that's all they can come up with).

Well in my day it was up at 8.00 am made the tea, called the other half, poured her tea out and while she was drinking I washed. Had some toast, went to the post office got my money and went to Fakenham here in Norfolk a little Market Town in the Country. Brought some stuff for my bar, came home wife had gone to work, read the newspaper about these bastards at London again, had another cup of tea, then went and cut the back lawn, came in had another cuppa, came on here to check mail and write a post on here then opened up my bar, had what we call happy hour, then at 7pm had my tea, helped wash up, and then on here again till 11pm then bed......and nothing.

For 7/21 - Woke up, shaved, showered and dressed by 7. Woke up the wife and kids. Made breakfast for the kids, packed their lunches and drove them to their various morning places. Drove to work. Answered e-mails and phone messages, drafted an agenda for a meeting next week, conference call with a client, played around a little bit here, wrote some client reports and fielded phone calls, lunch with a group of friends and then home. Had dinner at 6:30, wife went out, I hung out with the kids - outside for awhile - then inside and watched Swarm on National Geographic Channel. Put the kids to bed by 10. I fell asleep before the wife got home, around 12:30...

Today...

Up at 2:45am... dressed...downstairs to check emails...did some shoppin on eBay... made coffee...fed the dogs...hit the treadmill...made me a natural peanut butter honey and whey protien powder sandwich on whole wheat bread (YUMMY!), ate a nanner and had a cup of coffee & some water (good old H2O, life's fluid!). Watched the news...said good morning to the wife (finally outta bed!)...brushed my teeth and headed off to paint my buddies house!

Home...checked emails...looked over and replied to the posts on this site...had a beer, a nap and a shower! Back on this site ( I tell ya, I'm addicted!)...talked to my Dad on the phone (81 and still kickin!)...gonna have dinner, watch the tube and hit the sack! (around 10 or 11). Full day....

manly because of the differance in time zones i know i pop in there when ever were allowed on the internet but ussaly i find noone there as well :)
