Is it too early in the season to start spouting off about how your team is going all the way this year? Me, being a big Cowboys fan, I really really like what I've seen the past 2 weeks, and there's a reason they currently top the ESPM Power Rankings (Philly Phools, don't get too mad...your Eagles are #2...and second on the list as well).
So, which teams are going all the way this year, and why?

My ex would shoot me if I didn't pick the Cowboys too. They will get it this year....but ONLY if Jessica Simpson stays HOME that day. She screwed the entire season last year.

So, after five weeks, does anyone's Super Bowl picks from August look shaky?

I'm thinking those that chose the Cowboys (including myself) are rethinking things after they way they played today.
However, Peyton and the Colts sure seem to have gotten things going their direction today.

I'm a Cowboys fan, but based on what I've seen so far we can forget about the Super Bowl for this year. Jerry Jones had assembled a highly talented, but dysfunctional, team.
I'm picking the Titans and the Giants in the Super Bowl. I'll take defense anytime to win a championship. Right now I give a slight edge to the Giants. Love both defenses, but the Giants offense is better.

New Orleans/Indy
If the Saints D can continue to improve week by week, with that offense, I like them to be in the bowl. In the AFC, every week a new team seems to fall on it's face and another one steps up. They all have holes. Without Brady in the mix for the Pats, it is wide open. I liked Denver originally, but they can't run the ball well. I would probably have to go with Indy now which looks like they have finally gotten it together and will get better as the season goes on.

It's a bit of a long shot, I admit. But who wants to be like everyone else and make the obivious choices? Even if you're right--nobody will remember or care cause there are probably like 20 million other ppl who made the same prediction.
If I'm ever right--y'all will think I'm a genius!!!
Money??? Fuck no!!! It's the Chiefs and Lions, dude...

Super bowl picks are: Giants vs Titans
MyFavMistake^f
12-12-2008, 09:28 PM
Well I know who it's not gonna be.. The Chiefs and the Lions..... How on earth can both of my favorite teams suck so bad??????? Every week I play in the local football pot and you have to pick the winners of every game then rank them from 16 (being a sure win) to 1 being (no clue who will win)... I HATE going against my teams but you talk about a sure pick...... 16 whom ever is playing the Lions and 15 whom ever is playing the Chiefs... :(
As for winners.... I would love nothing more than to see ole number 4 in the superbowl... Omg that would be so cool!...
I doubt that will happen so I'm gonna go with.....
Tennessee VS Giants

At this point we know much more then we did at the beginning of the season. I could see a Panthers v Steelers matchup....but it will probably be NY giants V Titans match
