Looking out my window at the beautiful foliage, I'm wondering what your favorite things or memories are of this time of year.

I love the way the trees change..the colors take my breath away...
I love the bite in the air that makes you feel alive
I love to cuddle up in front of the fire
I love the holidays that come with fall..the smells of the pies and turkey and the spices and wood burning in the air.

I must say Ontario has some beautiful colours durning the autumn. I love the Autumn season....right after the hot summer and the cold upcoming winter, the brisk feeling that only Autumn can bring, it makes me feel alive and full of energy.
I enjoy walking in the woods or going for a long drive in the country and seeing the leaves, their brilliant orange's and reds and yellows really perk you up but also at the same time it reminds about death and nothing can last forever, and that there can be some hint of wonderful in just about everything, no matter how bad things may appear. :crs

...the multicolored leaves that crackle beneath my boots. The chill in the air that makes wrapping my arms around him all the more justified. The aroma of camp fires...tis the last camp outs of the year. The colorful array of football jerseys. My body and mind melting under a steamy shower or my fluffy comforter after coming in from the cold. Scary old movies and Halloween.

I like setting my clock back an hour. That rocks! Unfortunately, I like it too much, as I tend to do it whenever it pleases me. I've lost a few jobs that way.

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins....I love them...no idea why. It won't get cool here for a while and the leaves sometimes never even fall off the trees so I guess the most fall thing we have are the pumpkins everywhere.

1. Raking up the leaves and watching my kids have a ball jumping in them and throwing them all around.
2. Going out to the Pumpkin Patch to pick the perfect pumpkins to carve.
3. The smell of pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread baking in the oven.
4. Dressing the kids up on Halloween to go trick or treating.

The only way i can explain why i love autumn, is saying its "crisp". Its still nice to walk outside and not having to look like a snowman and you don't get all sweaty cause while working you're building up some heat lol
A nice walk with someone you love, hand in hand is just amazing in the fall... wait, that would be amazing all year long lol

Wind and rainstorms outside, pj's, snacks, a cosy blanket, and a Halloween favourite, inside. You have a tin roof? Excellent.
Candles 'just because' and, dare I say it, flowers and potpourri. A simple bit of ambiance for the time of year.
Taking photos of the leaves, nature and the changing landscape. Walking, but not too far.
The beach; waves, sunlight, few people. Catching an unseasonably pleasant day. Early morning mist and jogging. At least once.
A favourite wool mix jumper, not too itchy…accidentally laced with her perfume.
Perfect music for the time of the year - before you get too bored of the same tracks.
Picnics, cookies, baking, cinnamon, achieving great coffee in a thermos flask.
Cue the smell of bread
Cue the smell of burnt bread.
New shoes – autumn always means new shoes. Preparing for winter and Christmas. Gardening - as long as you don't have to.
Fireworks – bonfire night for us Brits soon. Hotdogs, burgers, jacket spuds...
Taking extra care because the nights are drawing in. Spooning while sleeping because it got a bit brrrrrrr.
