<div>On Thursday, former Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said that the Gang of Three – Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT) – had provoked Democrats into trying to change traditional Senate rules. Cruz said on Thursday on the floor of the Senate that old-school Republicans had been working with Democrats to spend more money and raise the debt ceiling. Such Republicans, Cruz said, “would very much like to cast a symbolic vote against raising the debt ceiling and nonetheless to allow our (Democratic) friends on the left side of the aisle to raise the debt ceiling.” Mike Lee said something similar earlier in the day.<br />

Then McCain went off. He ripped on the Tea Party senators, stating that the set-upon Democrats would surely react by attempting to curb Republican minority rights. “That would be the most disastrous outcome that I could ever imagine,” said McCain. He added, “Isn’t it a little bizarre … Basically what we are saying here on this (Republican) side of the aisle is that we don’t trust our colleagues on the other side of the Capitol who are in the majority, Republicans.”<br />

Cruz responded that he didn’t trust Republicans. “I don’t trust the Republicans,” he said. “And I don’t trust the Democrats. I think a whole lot of Americans likewise don’t trust the Republicans and the Democrats, because it is leadership in both parties that has gotten us in this mess.”<br />
<br />
McCain recently retweeted a Wall Street Journal editorial critical of Cruz. He has also termed the new Tea Party senators “wacko birds.”</div>

<div>Even as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) political targeting scandal widens, an army of 2,137 IRS agents are gearing up to implement and police numerous aspects of Obamacare. Their enforcement of the law is under the leadership of Sarah Hall Ingram, the person in charge of the tax-exempt unit from 2009 to 2012 during the targeting.<br />
<br />
House and Senate Republicans have introduced bills to stop IRS involvement in implementing Obamacare. Sen. John Cornyn introduced the “Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act of 2013” (S. 983) in the Senate, while Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) sponsored a bill by the same name in the House (H.R. 1990).<br />
<br />
“The official who oversaw the targeting of tea party groups is now in charge of implementing Obamacare at the IRS,” said Cornyn. “Now more than ever, we need to prevent the IRS from having any role in Americans’ health care.<br />
<br />
Cornyn added: “I do not support Obamacare, and after the events of last week, I cannot support giving the IRS any more responsibility or taxpayer dollars to implement a broken law.”<br />
<br />
The IRS says that Ingram “has been assigned full-time to ACA [Affordable Care Act—Obamacare] activities since December 2010.” However, as ABC News has pointed out, “Ingram maintained her title as commissioner of tax exempt and government entities, using it in testimony she delivered to congress in November 2011 and May 2012.”<br />
<br />
As this official IRS chart shows, as of February 2011, Ingram remained the head of the tax exempt and government entities unit responsible for executing the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups. Indeed, from 2009 to 2012, Ingram received $103,390 in bonuses.<br />
<br />
Ingram is not without her defenders, however. Disgraced former IRS Acting Commissioner Steven Miller says Sarah Hall Ingram is “a superb civil servant.” Asked whether Ingram was involved in the targeting scandal, Miller--who was forced to resign his post--said “I wouldn’t imagine so.”</div>

The final tally was 757 yes votes, to 475 no (another 168 delegates did not cast a ballot since they were not present at the meeting). The ban on gay leaders was not voted on and will remain in place. <br />
&quot;This resolution today dealt with youth. We have not changed our adult membership standards. They have served us well for the last 100 years. Those were not on the table,&quot; said Tico Perez, BSA national commissioner.<br />

The policy change will go into effect Jan. 1, 2014, &quot;allowing the Boy Scouts of America the transition time needed to communicate and implement this policy to its approximately 116,000 Scouting units,&quot; the BSA said in a statement.<br />

Some things have happened that made me take a long hard look at things and make changes within myself and try to make changes in my relationship. By todays standards I have been married a long time. And that is not anything to throw away. I have come to realize how much I do love and appreciate my wife. I have laid awake in bed and thought about what my life would be without her and I could not. There was not one happy thought. I just can not picture her not being here with me or I being with her. I know it sounds completely cliche but she is the other half of me. I want to grow old with her, I want to laugh with her, I want to cry with her. I just want to be with her. Forever. But I truly realize I am blessed with her and our beautiful children. I love her with all I am and ever will be. I would be nothing without her!!</div>
