What brings you here?

I stumbled across this website one night when I was alone and lonely, read through some of the threads, and thought it seemed like a fun place.
So I'm curious, how did you end up here, and what made you stay?

yaser 10-11-2005 10:19 PM

Feeling that I am not isolated in the world of isolation

Heaterman 10-11-2005 10:26 PM

good thread

Jy 10-11-2005 10:33 PM

Thank you, heaterman. Coming from you, that's high praise. It's something I've wanted to ask for a while, but I had to muster up the nerve to start a thread.

Very lonely and bored one night... Browsing through profiles on Yahoo! Came across this one profile of a very beautiful lady, which had a link to this site. Which I followed and read some of the posts. Liked what I saw, and have been mysteriously drawn back here ever since!;) :D

BTW, Jugs .... been thinking of you all day!;)

ksfirefighter 10-11-2005 11:30 PM

stumbling around on the net looking and not sure what i punched in but brought me here. Looked around a little and thought why not. The first few were very quick to say hello and welcome me. Very nice people here and I am finding I'm not alone in my sexual appetite. Nice to have people from all walks of life that seem to share so many different things.

Now I cant stay away. I love to read the posts and see what everyone is up to. The friendly flirting back and forth is a lot of fun. Here i can do it and not get slapped!:D

Found this place by accident while looking for a connection, a bond, with someone - anyone - on a particularly bad night.

Why do I stay? Let me count the ways --

1) Got a woman named Jugs, another is an Annie Mull, one is a shy girl, a woman with a contintental flair, a woman who glorifies a wet beaver, and a pussy cat. On top of that, the place is run by woman who exemplifies sexual freedom and honesty.

2) Men who have walked the same mile, women who have wondered why they do -

That's why I stay. Camraderie, sympathy, empathy, and some good humor. That's as good as it gets.

My friend -- it would be a sad day indeed when a cosmopolitan man such as yourself could learn something from a country bumpkin like me. Nonetheless, i will keep typing (and you keep correcting), and we shall traverse this life together -- LOL

Yep -- we got a couple rivers here -- the Colorado starts about 120 miles from here, and runs clear to mexico -- actually provides a lot of water and power for California. Then, we have the Arkansas river -- called that because it flows from here to Arkansas - about 700 miles as the crow flies. Everytime I go near it, I stop and pee in it cuz it is said that Bill Clinton swims in it when he is home in Arkansas, and I just might get lucky.

As for the slogan: How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up?

And I said I have nothing to learn from you. Does Bill really go smimming in it. You said get lucky.. why's that? You want to keep the water warm so he doesn't get chilly.. You thoughtful man..

illmakeurtoeswiggle 10-12-2005 06:11 AM

I was brought here because of the problems I was having with my wife.
Now those problems have been resolved and I come here to have fun and be with the people I have developed friendships with.

It's fun here...entertaining and enlightening!...but, the GOOD people are what keep me here.:)

Norfolkdave 10-12-2005 06:17 AM

Was sitting at the computer one day and searching...for what, i dont know really... a connection, a friend, a romance fantasy, and i came upon this site.
Started reading the threads and enjoyed what i was reading and the people that were sharing their thoughts abouts subjects that were hitting close to home.
So, sometimes i come here and just read and laugh, some times i throw my two cents in, but all the time i have come away from here with smile and a thought for the day.
Even us rednecked , good ol boys can learn a thing or two:D about how others see things, and how the female mind is working.
Thanks Penny and Heaterman for your work in keeping this site going.;)

Keep him warm? I think not. :lmao

As for George W, the sad part is that he, though admittedly ill equipped, just might be the last chance for world peace, forced into action as a result of a constituency that demands action and forceful response, a group of barbarians who employ cowardly tactics, and the chamberlin-esque compliancy employed by some who hope it will all just go away. Lots of people don't like it, complain loudly so that they may have their fifteen minutes of fame on the world stage, but none come to the battle with a better plan.

But, I don't think this is the place for political discourse. If you wish, I think we can establish a thread elsewhere and discuss the relative merits of action vs. cowardice, because in this day, sitting on the sideline pontificating on the actions of others iis truly the ultimate in cowardice.

Oh yeah -- there is that other thing -- if you fuck with the big dog, you're going to get bit.

I stumbled across this site when I bored and lonely at home. I don't even remember what I typed in to find it. I came back and read through some of the posts for a couple of days before I gathered up the courage to join and post. Everyone is so friendly here and nobody is excluded or made to feel inadequate. That is a rare and special thing for everyone to welcome you in.

Course, it doesn't hurt that you are a knockout!

Free2ChooseU 10-12-2005 11:47 AM

Must admit, I was not having a bad day, I was not lonely, neither was I bored...

I had the day off, and as I was playing this computer game..{Im a computer game playing nut}..

I clicked on "Get More Games", and here I am...

Don't ask me how that took me from there to here, but I'm glad it did...

I did feel the welkum from you all.....and I like the playful banter back and forth.....

Everyone that welkumed me, made my day, and I want to again, say THANK YOU....

Each of us, in our own way, {whatever the hell is going on in our lives THIS day} got here for different reasons, and when things like that happen, it sends a message that, [for ME] we are here..."MF", for a reason...whatever that reason is, some of you have found yours, while others {like myself} have yet to discover what my reason for being here is....[MF]

Maybe it is to meet Mr.Right.........finally....who knows...whatever happens, I believe that I'll make some true, lasting friendships here........and that's the thing that keeps me kuming back....

Have a gloriously, prodigiously, absolutely, marvelous day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:wa:
