Empty cookie jar in this case means to me that the retirement age has gone above 67 because everyone is living so much longer and we have to rebalance those contributing and withdrawing from SS to keep the SS payment of a meaningful size.

If you want my guess, at age 46, how old I will be before I see any SS. I think it will be 75 for me (without major changes in how SS works).
