Default What SUCKS about you?

Ok...we have threads about what turns us on, what we like, desire, need, believe, want to change....

Let's REALLY get to know each other. What about you isn't so great? What about you drives people crazy?

Quirks, bad habits, pet peeves, annoying ticks, irritating laughs...whatever you can come up with...

Let's get 'em out there, poke a little fun, forgive each other, and move on!

I so have OCD.... There is a place for everthing in my home and it must all be in that place... I even have my storage room labled... If something is out of place i can get really frustrated... like if a towel is not hung up or if a coat is on the back of a chair...

Oh, you SOOOOOO don't want me around your house...I'd drive you crazy. I have a place for everything, too. The floor.

I have a hard time seperating hurt from anger. If something hurts me, and I feel uncomfortable about it, I want to hurt back, fight, or pull away....it's my instinctual reaction and I screw so much stuff up with it.

I am really working on this. It's very hard for me to just sit on my hands and try to figure out what really happend. It's hard to allow myself to be in a position of vulnerability, or admit I don't know something, or that I made a bad call, or say I'm sorry. I'm getting better as I get older, but it's only because I have really been working on it.

I realize I haven't answered my own question here....

For most of my life, I've been more talk than action in certain areas of my life...and as a result, have failed miserably people who matter to me the most.

Only recently have I realized the severity of this, and have dedicated myself to changing it forever.

I wish my kids had OCD....I would really have less to clean...I must have it a little bit because I look at my house after the kids have been playing awhile and it drives me a little bit crazy.....The only problem is I don't like to clean.

Yeah, I know a couple people with OCD. The attention to detail can be a postive too. I don't have OCD, but have been known to hyperfocus on something and not be able to let it go.....so I can relate. I think it can be more frusterating to the people with OCD than those around them really.

That's a very fine line to walk, Sneaky...and very brave of you to face it.

I actually have the opposite problem. I think I'm missing the angry gene, and it makes me appear apathetic...

Thanks Yasha. Sometimes I think it's much more difficult for those around me.

I have a whole bunch of extra angry genes just waiting to be used. I wish I could donate them to you! LOL.

Speaking of the angry gene....I don't lack it but I tend to let people walk on me sometimes....I let it build up and then sometime release it when no ones expecting it. I need to learn to express the feelings better and be more open before this happens.

This site lets me do that

That is so my problem...I probably do get angry, but it comes out as something other than anger...sometimes I feel like, emotionally, I'm a little kid...lol

Good on ya, mate...nice post.
