When I was growing up, my mom always kept aloe plants in the house. Used the goo inside on burns, cuts, etc...
seemed to help. I don't have any aloe plants myself since I didn't inherit mom's "green thumb".... seriously, I could even kill a cactus...

Melatonin. If you want it naturally, the highest amounts are in St. John's Wort and feverfew.

You could also try some Valerian Root, it has a long history of use as a mild sedative. Or perhaps Passion Flower - it's pretty popular in Europe for sleep as well. My roommate in college was going for a Botany degree so I was always trying different herb cocktails...LOL Good luck and hope you find a remedy.

For Aradia:

My crazy brew for cold & cough

In 500 - 800 ml of water add the following, cover & simmer till it smells totally potent:
- slices of ginger - 1/2 an inch piece at least
- cloves 7-8 slightly crushed
- cardamom - crushed
- cinnamon - 1 small stick
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon or 8-10 peppercorns coarsely crushed
- fennel - 1 tablespoonful lightly crushed
- cumin - 1 teaspoon lightly crushed
- black tea - 1 teaspoon
- lemon grass leaves - a few
- thyme - coarsely chopped leaves
- basil - 2 med sized leaves coarsely chopped
- sage - 2 leaves coarsely chopped

Let the water/brew come to a boil & then let it simmer for 15- 20 mins. Strain it into a pot, add brown sugar or honey to taste, stir it in.

Sip it slowly from a small sake cup or Turkish coffee cup. It is spicy & strong but helps 100% !

Ok Arte I kinda changed things abit as there were a few things I didnt have

600ml
2 black chai tea bags
1 tsp ginger
1 stick cinnamon
18 cloves
4 whole star anise
12 peppercorns
1 1/2 tbsp fennel
1 tsp cumin
fresh honey

The grasshopper plague took away my fresh basil, thyme and lemon balm I was gonna toss in (sob)

But this tastes awesome Arte. Like a supercharged version of chai tea
