Not sure what you mean by blow off steam.

I would never play match maker. I have a hard enough time reading who would be good for me. How could I ever do it for someone else. And then if you led them into a bad relationship, how good would that be.

If you're asking would I help someone with an affair...probably not. I can't think of a single instance where I'm friends with one partner in a marriage and not the other. No way I'm getting involved in that!

Ive fixed up two of my single friends and it worked out great, Im not sure I would get involved if they were married because then I would know her husband too and that just gets sticky

Sure, I'll play broker. People's decisions aren't my responsibility. They could choose to not take my offer. I see it like showing someone a porn website. If someone asks me what a good porn website is, I give them the URL. It's their choice whether or not to view it. If they view it and get 'caught', it's not my fault, they asked, I provided info.

No, I've never played matchmaker. Have I covered for somebody? Sure, even total strangers. I used to work at a hotel, and have had spouses call up looking for their S.O.-even asking me to go out in the parking lot looking for their vehicle. Would I help a friend, and cover for them? Depends on the friend. If I know their spouse, their kids, or even their situation, I may or may not. It would be a total judgement call at that point, and I would definitely take into consideration how much involvement I am willing to risk myself. You have to figure the risk part in because I, myself, have tendency to stray from a moral path once in a while. And I really don't want to drag anyone down that perpetual tunnel with me, much less get caught helping someone else. God only knows I have enough trouble covering my own ass!
